Shinken Katana
Shinto Daisho
The Shinto features a hand forged T-10 high carbon steel, traditional clay differentially tempered blade with bo-hi. The Shinto blade is mounted in black and the tsuka-ito is made of premium Japanese cotton. The saya is finished in a deep black lacquer with a black cotton sageo. The tsuba is formed from a finely rendered dragon detailed in gold with true front and back detail. The fittings are superbly antiqued to perfectly accent the aesthetic of the sword. The Shinto is supplied with a protective cloth bag and traditional maintenance kit.

Tori Katana and Tanto
The Tori XL Light katana features a powdered-steel forge folded blade with a Flying Crane themed tsuba and fuchi/kashira, while the menuki are kabuto. The tsuka is high quality brown leather over a black same. The saya is wrapped at the mouth with black lacquered rattan and finished in brown.
The Tori Tanto (dagger) features a forge folded blade with a high quality ray skin wrapped tsuka. The crane and armor theme is carried over on the furniture of the tanto and the saya is the same textured brown as the katana. We are pleased to be able to offer you this most elegant craftsmanship.
Musashi XL Light Katana
The Musashi XL Light katana is faithful to the original down to the famous double iron ring tsuba. The tsuka-ito is leather over rayskin. The XL Light blade is hand forged high carbon steel and is tempered using the traditonal clay method giving it a distinct hamon.
Musashi Daisho
Miyamoto Musashi was not only one of the most superb swordsmen in Japanese history, credited with developing the style of using both the long and short sword together; he was a large man as well, and his sword reflected that. The Musashi daito (long sword) features the longer 15" tsuka and a slightly longer blade. This sword comes in at a total length of 45". The daisho (long and short sword pair) is mounted in black with a textured saya for durability and the tsuka-ito is leather over rayskin. The blade is hand forged in high-carbon steel and is edge tempered to display a distinct hamon.

Practical Plus Series
This traditionally constructed sword features a forged differentially tempered (HRC60 edge, HRC40 back) blade with a prominent hamon. The Practical Plus features a rayskin (same) wrapping on the tsuka with a tightly woven cotten wrapping (tsuka-ito). The long tang is double pegged for security, and the sword carries a dogwood and dragon motif with a sunburst tsuba design.
Tiger Series
The tiger has long been a symbol of strength and careful tactical movement. Each piece in the Tiger group has a hand forge folded K120C powder steel blade with bo-hi and a short kissaki (tip). The katana features a slightly longer blade at 29.75" and a 13.75" tsuka for a total length of 44.5". The saya is deeply laqcuered in black with inlaid brass bamboo leaves. The tsuka utilizes the hightest quality rayskin and the tsuka-ito and the sageo are woven from the highest quality Japanese cotton. The fuchi, kashira, kojiri, koiguchi and kurigata are all made from blackened bronzed iron which has been selectively detailed in gold. The tsuba of the katana and wakizashi are made from blackened iron with an inlaid brass tiger. The Habaki is of one piece brass construction.
